Day 01 :
AIRPORT TO NEGOMBO
(Assuming they are arriving in the morning: 8.20 AM) As you land in Sri Lanka, a Primeway Tours representative will welcome you at the BIA. Our chauffeur or guide will receive you and assist you in proceeding to your first destination, Negombo. Start – 9.50 AM

NEGOMBO TO DAMBULLA VIA PINNAWALA

- Climb the majestic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with ancient frescoes, water gardens,and panoramic views from the summit of this iconic 5th-century citadel.(Visiting Sigiriya Rock Fortress involves climbing approximately 1,200 steps (1H 30MIN) to reach the summit. A moderate level of physical fitness is recommended to fully enjoy this remarkable experience. However, guests who prefer not to climb can Visit the Sigiriya Museum: For guests who prefer not to climb Sigiriya, alternatives include a visit to the Sigiriya Museum, exploring to learn about the history, architecture, and art of Sigiriya without the climb.)

- 2.00 PM | Minneriya National Park (Not included: Entrance – Per person – GBP 48)
Experience a thrilling safari at Minneriya National Park, famous for its large elephant gatherings, especially during the dry season. Enjoy the scenic train ride from Nuwara Eliya (via Nanu Oya) to Ella, considered one of the most beautiful railway journeys in the world. Pass through rolling tea plantations, misty mountains, waterfalls, and picturesque valleys, offering breathtaking views and memorable photo opportunities along the way.(In case the train ride is unavailable, guests will be transferred by our private vehicle. Experience one of the most picturesque routes in Sri Lanka! Traveling from Nanu Oya to Ella, guests are treated to rolling tea plantations, misty mountains, cascading waterfalls, and charming villages along the way. - Ella Gap & Nine Arches Bridge – iconic photo spots.
